Hi all
Would some one please help me to figure out the following:
I opened the spousal sponsorship application from Alberta. I am planning to move to Quebec. Since the province does have its regulation regarding CSQ before PR application, do I need to apply for the same before his landing? he will land in Toronto and then he plans to move to QC. If I get Maladie card (health insurance card), do I have to inform immigration guys? I heard that it is best not to change in status during sponsorship application to avoid any hindrance.
Since the case is critical, I would appreciate your cmments.

yes. that is the standard remark for DM. if there was no interview, or you did not ignore additional requests, expect your COPR (if you're visa exempt) or instructions for sending in your passport for stamping(if you require a visa) in the mail .

Yes this is normal. Mine didn't show up even after we got the visa

I have a question regarding spousal application. My to be wife's work permit application was denied and she was asked to leave canada which she did. In application form there is this question, have u ever been asked to leave canada ? what would be the answer, if yes, will it affect the application negatively ?

Answer truthfully and it will not impact the application.

After I sent police clearances and schedule A, I emailed visa office to confirm if they recived my documents and this is what they replied on it:

Dear XXXX XXXX,

The documents you sent have been received. Your application in the queue for review by a visa officer.

You will be informed about the further steps in your application shortly.


Can any one tell me what this means or this is just there regular form witch they send to everyone? ???

Hi guys, I am in the process of completing the spousal application forms and I am a bit confused with this form.

According to the cic spousal checklist the IMM5406 Additional Family Info has to be filled up by the Principal Applicant. But on the top most part of the form, it states there that the "principal applicant, their spouse...must complete there own form.My husband is my sponsor.Just for clarification, this IMM5406 form needs to be completed by my spouse also which happens to be my sponsor?please help
