My translations and affidavit were stapled to the original documents like my marriage certificate by the authorities in Italy. They don't let you do the affidavit with a photocopy of the original. At the end of the affidavit, the consulate also stamped it to certify the signature. I took out the staples and the original certificate, and put in a photocopy, as we aren't supposed to send the originals. I hope I didn't make a mistake in doing this. Since we are sending originals of the police checks, I left the staples in for those. The consulate of Canada where I live thought that I had made a mistake by taking the staples out and not giving the originals of the other things too. I really hope I was right.

Hello, I am organizing file for my husband and i heard that we should not staple any documents in the file but use paper clips instead. Is it correct?

It is recommended that you pay the RPRF upfront to avoid delays. 1040$ is the correct amount.

File Is in Background Checks After Interview , Does this Means I have passed Interview ? I ordered GCMS notes before interview and i found that Criminality assed , Medical : Passed ( Expired) Security : __________ ( Blank).. Are they now doing security checks ?


p.s : Before Interview was Asked to pay landing fees and Re-Medicals, which was expired in December 2015

Yes, unless you are sure you won't be getting DM or PPR in that time.

You don't need to do anything through a representative. You need to send a Case Specific Enquiry to your VO updating your address.

If you are sending it by post, then the first address is right. If you are sending it by courier, then you need the second address.

File number will be created and sent to you by Immigration once they have looked at your file , it will take a month or 2 after they receive your application in Mississauga .
Right now you don't have a file number .
