Keep in mind that NDVO asks for passports at the beginning of the process, not the end. Thus a PPR from NDVO usually means they have started to look at your application, but you may have several more months to wait.
If you have never applied for any kind of Canadian visa before, then you will leave it blank. If you have applied for a Canadian visa then you should have a UCI on that visa or on a rejection letter. It is 8 numbers long. If you have applied for a visa before but are unsure of your UCI number, u can just leave it blank anyway and the visa officer will fill it in for you.
hello everyone! Pls does cic visa office have a right to keep someone's original birth certificate after interview? My spouse attended her interview and everything including all our supporting evidence were returned to her except her birth certificate and some school transcripts and pictures. Now her medical will expire in 3 weeks time no visa issue just being told after the interview that they will mail her. Now i am still waiting almost 2 weeks now but nothing is happening. Does that means perhaps she has been refused. Thanks in advance
I'm so stress about my medical exam.I want to know if the CIC recieved it,do you think it's a good idea if I call them to ask if they received it?
Let me know what do you think about this, thanks
If I get married once I return to my native country for a vacation, am I required to declare immediately that I'm already married before I leave? Or can I just start processing my documents once I get back here to Canada?

Just relax. Sadly, there isn't really a way to find out. The only way you'll know is when THEY contact YOU. It'll either be "please forward your medical" OR a PPR or AOR.

Unless it's been more than 4 months, I wouldn't bother asking.
It can take 2-4 months before medicals show up. But there's no reason to worry, since spousal applicants are exempt from the worst of the disqualifiers (excessive demand).
