I haven't received the AOR, but I already linked the Spousal Sponsorship application on GC key and create account on PR tracker. On PR tracker, it shows my application is "in progress". Does this mean my application has been accepted by IRCC (even though I didn't receive AOR yet)?

Well dont worry you dont need aor now, you already got application number and uci, just wait for next step biometric, medical request, and Sponsor Approval

Right now on the PR tracker, it shows "Biometrics" is "in progress". My spouse gave the Biometrics in the past, for TRV, and it's still valid (within 10 years). Does my spouse need to call IRCC to tell them the previous Biometrics? Will IRCC search for it and find it?

I am pretty sure they will find it. My wife had bio done for TRV in January 2020. Right now, for her, tracker shows bio as "in progress". On the other hand, GCKey shows her biometrics details under "Applicant Information". It shows her biometrics number, date taken, etc.

Same here i submitted biometric on March 2 but until now its showing in progress in pr tracker and dont need biometric in gckey although i can see details of biometric under applicant details. I ordered gcms notes and it confirmed that biometric is received and completed
Is "security check" same thing as, or part of, "background check". I have not noticed it as something shown on GCKey or Tracker. Maybe just lack of observational powers on my part. I have not looked lately, but I recall seeing "eligibility check" and "background check", but no separate listing for "security check".

Interesting that you mention that the bio is received and completed in GCMS. In out case, BIO was stuck in progress for PA on PR tracker for a month despite of bio enrollment showing up in the GCKey (the status was and still is as not needed). I thought it to be yet another glitch. But we ended up with a request to redo the BIO one month later. It turned "complete" right after BIO was retaken.

I was worried thats why i raised two webforms one through gckey and another one through pr tracker but they didnt do anything, after that i ordered gcmsnotes from both ircc and cbsa and both confirmed biometric received and nrt
