Hello everyone.
My common-law partner sponsors me. I submitted my INLAND application on May 2.
Is someone knows, can we travel outside of Canada together? is it going to somehow affect the application?
thank you
Hi everyone. Got our AoR and sponsor approval. And also done with medical and biometrics. How long should the background check and eligiblity take time?
Hi
I’m applying for my wife(Outland spousal sponsorship) as part of requirement I need to submit her birth certificate and passport. But in passport and BC her mother’s name spelling is bit different. In passport her mother name is mentioned as Judit and in BC it’s written as Judy. Would this be a problem? Anyone please

Thank you for the reply, getting it changed on BC is a tough task so I’m going to submit as it is. I’m also submitting her secondary school leaving certificate along with the application which also have her mother’s name same as in passport

Note, I really can't speak for all countries, but if it's a short form of the same name (which Judith and Judy certainly are) probably ok. I'd just include a short letter of explanation. Note that eg Canadian passport instructions are VERY clear about this so I find it hard to believe they'd be surprised.
Also note: in Canada you basically can't get a birth certificate changed after the fact (except for super obvious outright errors).

I am tired of waiting ... please anybody can explain why "security background" not started yet since four months ... everything else is done but i don't know "why the status shows "security background not start yet...... is it the glitch or my application has been placed somwhere in the corner....

I wouldn't be so sure about that, my Background Check shows like this on GCKEY: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
and it changed a couple of days after we received the SA, and it got moved to Ottawa VO.

1. No, as your COPR will only be valid to 20/08/22 1 year from date of medical.
2, Actually your post doesn't make a lot of sense. How do you know PRR will 29/07 and PP submitted 03/08, those dates are in the future
I noticed that the spousal sponsorship timeline on IRCC is showing 22 months now which is really scary. Anyone knows how accurate this is and whether new applications would take around the same time?
