How long it usually take to get ECOPR after P2?
I have an update on PR Tracker after June yesterday “we have received your enquiry” it is there on different dates 5 times, does any one has seen such update on trackers as well?
How long it usually take to get ECOPR after P2?
From what I have seen from others it could take days-months. I think it depends on the office and the officers load of work. Montreal seems to be moving pretty fast, I received my P1 Sept 17, and P2 on Sept 24.
interestingly, our application status was updated on the tracker yesterday after 6months! Its eligibility status has been updated to Completed! now the question is, can we use the confirmation sent to us a few weeks ago to change the SIN number and apply for a health card?
The tracker works now. That is why. SIN Number, I think you need eCOPR. Health Card, depends on where you are. If Ontario, then yes, you can use AIP letter to apply for OHIP.

My VO is Montreal and my P1 was on September 05 and P2 on September 27

It's likely we will receive our eCOPR's around the same time then. Keep me posted, please! And I'll keep you posted too when there's an update.
Hello,
I’m currently residing in Quebec and applied for PR through spousal sponsorship. My application has been delayed by about three months beyond the current processing time. I’ve already reached out to my MP, and IRCC informed them that my security check started on August 21st.
I consulted a lawyer who advised me to wait another two months before we consider filing a mandamus application. However, I’ve heard that mandamus is typically more effective when the delay is at least 1.5x the processing time. The complication here is that when I initially applied, the processing time was significantly lower than it is now. According to my lawyer, the processing time that was in effect when I applied should be the benchmark used to assess whether the delay is unreasonable. Is this true?
Additionally, when would it be appropriate for me to request GCMS notes, and should I also consider requesting CBSA/CSIS notes at this stage?

I would order GCMS notes long before mandamus. My own guess is that for spousal, time elapsed should be more like 2X current. Your call, though, your money.
No idea about cbsa/csis notes.
I have complete whole Schedule A online form and still it is saying ‘in progress’ and not ‘complete’. what can i do in this scenario?

Do you mean you are beyond the long Quebec processing times or the general processing times? Agreed that mandamus is most effective when you are significantly over processing times. A few months doesn't really give you any case for mandamus.
There is no complication with the processing time. Current processing times are the ones that apply. The processing times displayed at the time you applied are irrelevant and won't support a mandamus case. You have to go by what is on the IRCC website now. Your lawyer is wrong on this front.
