Hello, I just finished filling outland spousal sponsorship application for my wife. But she already did Biometrics last year for the visitor application we tried. I don't see anywhere in the online application that requested if the applicant has given biometric before.

Should i just upload a proof in an LOE before submitting the application? Thanks

The biometric waiver for PR applications is temporary (since start of covid), or at least so far anyway - that's why it's not in the forms.

You can include proof in an LOE if you want, it may or may not make any difference.

upload the biometric coz its valid for ten yrs... include the file in your additional documents

My wife received PR approval on Jan 4 and portal invitation on Jan 06, applied on the same day....still waiting for eCOPR. My wife is here on visitor visa, finishing 6 months on Feb 17, 2023 should we apply for extension of visitor visa?

Yes, it is taking up to 90 days for eCOPR.

In the PR Portal, the digital photo is now not been seen and it says " File not uploaded" Please provide information alongwith Add/Edit button. I was able to see it earlier.
I havent even received any communication from ircc to re-upload photo, does anyone know of what does this signify?

Yes. That is happening with many people and appears to be a glitch in the system. I contacted IRCC Processing and confirmed that the images are still in the system and ok.

anecdotally, 1 - 3 months :'( YMMV, some got it quickly, some are on the tail end of that range.

Hi, it all depends on two factors.
1) Luck.
2) supporting documents.
By god's grace we had both of these going in our favor.
It was by luck that our outland online sponsorship application was allocated to visa office Ottawa,having a track record of faster processing.
Our supporting documents passed the IRCC muster for both quality and quantity.
Our application was approved within 5 months and 12 days.
Sponsor : Canadian PR
PA : Indian citizen.
Timeline:
OO application 4th August, AOR 10th November, SA,BIL,MR 14th November Biometric and medical completed 18th November, biometric updated 19th November medical passed 26th November,Pre arrival letter 12 th January RFV/PPR 16th January. VO Ottawa.

I have applied for my pr through spousal within canada. My husband got his pr in oct 2021. We both were living together on and off but myhusband didnot mention in his pr file that he was in common law( we were notaware about this clause that we have to mention )yes we were in relationship but not married now officer has raise request why your husband didnot mention that in his pr file.
Please help me with this ask.
