Are you a Canadian Citizen or PR? I'm also thinking of applying for sponsorship while being outside Canada. I'm PR and currently outside Canada.

If a PR, you definitely should not apply while still abroad. ONly apply within Canada.

my Question is when I have to submit Spouse passport. At the time for applying visitor visa or I will receive a Passport request from visa office. kindly give your suggestions.

Read. the. instructions.

When applying for visitor visa, if it does not tell you explicitly to submit the passport, then do not submit the passport at that time.

I am a sept 2019 inland applicant. I had a pfl on march 20 2021. I responded with lots of new evidence and was rejected in June 2021. I filed judicial review and they just admitted the error in law and settled the case and are in transit to give it to a different officer. my question is :
1) Is there any relevant forum here regarding judicial review?
2) What are the chances of approval now as the case will be determined by a different officer?
3) How long do I have to wait?


I will really appreciate any information and guidance. I have covered all this distance and still going through this injustice.

There are lots of threads on judicial reviews no separate forum.though.

Depending on the circumstances or error your chances of approval maybe slightly better than before but still no guarantee . Your application will be processed more or less like everyone else's and can be refused at anytime.

Covid has caused long delays and your file has basically gone back in the queue. So the wait time varies.

Is this normal? No AOR or anything but it’s in process. Doesn’t anyone else have this experience?

No, it's not normal. First suspect would be your friend or the sponsor not getting correspondence. Check spam inboxes and go from there.

If they have a representative, use them. Distinct possibility the representative is at fault.

Hi guys, I submitted my wife's application in sep and so far I have only received an email saying we received your application on 3rd sep 2021 and here's your app number.
Is this AOR or that would be a different email?
