hi all.... I need help. I'm an international student and my husband is a visitor visa holder. we both are in Canada. I applied SOWP in Sep, 19. result is still pending. My husbands' 6months are completing within 10 days. I'm worried about his work permit. My question is that, is he staying there in Canada till his result comes or he needs to go back to India?

Quick question. I just recently sent my passport in to have my last name changed to my married name. I am the sponsor and our application is under my maiden name since that’s what was on my passport at the time and I had to use it. There is proof I changed my last name on everything else since it’s on many documents we had to include. Anyway our application has been sent to the visa office already. Do I have to send a web form and have that info updated when I receive my new passport? Thanks.

Hoping to get this cleared by someone. My wife, who is the principle applicant already holds a visitor visa which expires in 2026. We are about to submit the outland sponsorship application in a couple of weeks. Question is, can she visit me in Canada for two weeks in December while the application is in process.?

She can certainly try.

It's up to CBSA as to whether or not she will be admitted.

They can apply again if they address the reasons for refusal.
