Hey, new on this forum
I got a letter on June 27 saying my application has been transferred to new delhi visa office for further processing. Is this AOR2?

Can anyone help me to on this matter..?

I sponsored my spouse under the family class. I sent all the necessary forms and related documents to IRCC on 15th Jun, 2018. IRCC received that on 18th Jun, 2018. It has been 15 days past over a month and still i didn't get my file number (AOR).

Is this the normal time to get AOR..?

Your help would be appreciate..

My Spousal Application received by CIC canada Mississauga on 26 Mar 2018, they started reviewing my application on 19 April 2018. What next when can I expect to get my medical and visa approval? Anyone with familiar case and have any further correspondence received around my application time?

Me (Sponsor, Canadian)
Wife (PA)

Dropped into mail box (Hong Kong to Mississauga): 02 June 2018
Fedex Tracker arrival at Mississauga: 07 June 2018
IRCC confirmation of receciving package: 06 July 2018
Request for Medical: 26 July 2018
Sponsor approval: 27 July 2018
Application forwarded to Hong Kong: 03 Aug 2018
Medical Appointment: 04 August 2018
Medical Passed: 11 August 2018

As you can see, it took only 20 days between IRCC receiving the package to Medical Exam. Since then, everything moved super fast (maybe there are some who are faster?). I read many post saying that after passing the Medical, it will take a further 3-4 months for the Passport Request (PPR) and this is when you know your application is nearing the end.

I know my response doesn't give you a direct answer but hopefully it gives you a glimpse.

Now many people have their application status as a code "(i.e. NA1, AOR, MEP...etc). Now, when i check my wife's application, we don't see these codes.... reasons?

No. AOR2 is when the visa office confirms that they have received your file.

Guys, could someone help me out on this - I have currently gathering documents for my husbands application. He is currently working in UAE and we had our court marriage few months back in India.

We dont have any shared expenses or any insurance policies together - what other proofs could be provided in such a situation?

Also for the WhatsApp/Skype messages and calls could I just email the history to myself and then provide parts of that file as back up or do I have to take snap shots of the messages from my phone?

No, you don’t need to request it. It’s just an acknowledgement that local VO received your application and some VOs don’t send it, some do. If you got the line “We started processing your application on XX XX XXXX) on ecas for PA it means that local VO received your application and opened it.

I received an AOR2 on 9th of August...
However, in many cases its not sent.... there is nothing to worry about if don’t receive it

one more thing id like to ask here, is the ecas number on the first receipt/AOR1?
because we are not able to track our application online. we donot know if the tracking number is suppose to be the number mentioned on AOR 1 or AOR 2
