Hello everyone! I would like to ask about the proof of relationship to sponsor, I'm planning to send our chat messages on skype but it is in our native language but there are some english words too like saying I love you to each other. Should i have the non english conversation be translated to english?

Check cic, it says if it needs a translation u must submit a translated document

Every location is different. You're better off asking this in a thread for your country and visa office to see what is the norm for people waiting for pr out of that specific visa office.

My husband has a hard time getting his, "criminal clearance paper" from his local police station in Tunis, Tunisia!
Does he still need his criminal paper for visitor visa? Also asking, do you think they will allow him to come and visit me and his sons while he is waiting for his sponsorship to go through pending the release of his papers and I think he needs his papers, just want to be sure before I do anything else!

Hi guys i just have a question if our application is already on background checking does it means its already on the last stage of processing?I already sent my passport last MAY 13 and we dont have any updates till now but our MP said that its already for background checking.does it means they are checking for the genuiness of me and my partner's relationship?or what king of checking they do? thank you for your reply guys.

Good day everyone, please who knows the applications that are being processed now by AVO? I heard is the files received by july 22, 2014. I am under sponsorship, my wife is sponsoring us and her applications are being processed concurrently with ours but our files has been transfered to AVO since August 1,2014 for background check and MR.

Please how long will it take before the MR?

I don't have a Option C Printout from Revenue Canada.

Instead I was going to send Notice of Assessment (original) including letter from my employer stating employment dates, and my annual income from Aug
- pres, bank statement, and the last few paystubs (because I have been purging them all up until now).

Is this sufficient?

My package is ready to be mailed tomorrow and unfortunately I didn't realize that these could be totally different documents.

I see your questions were answered, but yes, he did stay with me the whole time his outland application was processing and he applied online to extend his visitor visa after 6 months. He did not leave Canada until we got his CoPR. Outland is definitely the way to go

Make sure you keep your status from expiring. Before your current status expires, apply to extend the visitor status.

I apologise for it but some time no one respond to it that why I posted twice. I will take care about it. But no one answer me that what you recommend they will issue my spouse visitor visa or not and update from your past experience.

I am from a Visa Exempt country so I have no experience with this, but the stated time for Visitor Visas is 10 days, you only submitted something like 6 days ago. Wait until the posted time has passed before you get stressed out. It looks like you have implied status anyway, so I'm not sure why you are worried.

It's absolutely OK. I did it, many others have done it. The CIC website is incorrect in this area, unfortunately, as many people go Inland that don't need to do so.

You have to call CRA and request the option C print out. It is not the same as the notice of assessment. It is a lot more in depth and includes more information.

It is stated on the document check list to call CRA for it.


"An original Option C printout of your last Notice of Assessment for the most recent year. To obtain these printouts free of charge from the Canada Revenue Agency, call 1800-959-8281"

For my current country of residence, I should put down "Canada" since I'm here as a visitor right now.

Correct?

Also for residential address, can I write my husband's?
