Hey me and in the same we both january 2019 applicant I also received an email that I have to attend an interview with in 6 to 12 months when they make a decision they will inform me about the date of interview

Yes i know we are in same situation...i messaged few times my whatsapp number to discuss but i guess you don't check your inbox.....please tell me did they ask you for additional communication with that interview letter?

Did they give you a date to submit communication proof? And you don’t need to submit a lot of pictures. Just 10-15 that has good proof are enough. Plus if there asking for proof and interview than chances are if you can convince them with ur proof, your interview might get cancelled.

Plus I’m not sure if it is true or not but visiting and staying back home with spouse for very long time is also a redflag. Some guy was talking about it on fb so I’m not sure because long as I rem you been there since 2 years?

Thanks for the supportive reply I really need it....I did write all the details about our current relationship and same as everyone on this forum facing long distance problems.....i did travel few times but i am not permanently living here for past 2 years even though as Canadian citizen i can do that but we were very informative and updating everything to them but still these visa officers like to delay things....since IRCC announced conducting online interview look at how many people are still waiting for in-person interview which is impossible due to covid....they are not thinking Straight.....i have a huge family in Canada and only my husband in pakistan...its not fair to leave him alone for longtime too.....we deserves our married life too...life is not easy....these officers should not be judgmental but more understanding.....

I said to my photographer it should be 50x70mm he did the same but there is 2mm increase in boarder . Now is it fine ? Am I good to go? He said it's fine

I just simply told my photographer that I am going to submit passport so i need 2 new photographs although he knew the actual size of photographs but I also sent him that was mentioned in email....and after that just to make sure I asked my lawyer to measure photos so he did it and the pictures were perfect... I hope you went to a professional photographer if he said you are good to go I hope nothing will happen...and one more thing remember these photos are a bit bigger in size than normal passport sized photos

Biometrics- done last year in 2019 because we tried a travel visa.

Anyone have any estimate on how much longer I have?

I was thinking if they catch up with all those 2019 applications. Maybe the 2020 couples application might go smoother and on a normal timeline?

I just simply talk to people the way I like or I want people talk to me because everyone knows how it would feel if someone else talk to you the way you talk to them..i wish I could heal people through my words but I am not that special...I hope I will leave good memories behind me and people will remember me here in good words InshaAllah

just tell them at airport your above mentioned plan if no cough and fever...reverse everything in actual life...too much wait is a killer, i had corona 45 days ago...with the Grace of God its gone...

I know everyone has their own perspective and I am no one to forgive anybody because I believe only Allah is one Who forgives... I just listen to them and forget...I don't want to make a corner in my heart where I will keep hatred...never...and i dont remember those member's name who were talking against me..it's ok... yeah I just enjoy each and every moment of my life and after getting passport back that was the first night after 19 months when I slept peacefully...these 19 months were like hell I can't tell you how I spent every second of this lengthy stressful visa process
Alhamdolillah it came to an end... this is the only ending that is very beautiful

If we don't get updates in this next week , I'm guessing winter holidays will go on till 2nd January.. and it would be 13-14 days of hopeless misery....
What are these people doing to us... Does anyone know any authentic news regarding visa office winter break dates.

WHat? is that what they want for quarantine?

I guess so...the way they are asking people about quarantine plan I think that's all that matters for them...
They would love it if our life partners will treat us like "achoot" for 14 days lol
