VFS offices in UK does not have anything to do with applicants from Pakistan....they only deal with uk residents.
For people in Pakistan, they would need VFS in Isb, Lahore and Khi to be open (which I doubt right now).
Even if CHC-London opened and processes applications, you still need to depend on the CHC-Islamabad to be open and process/issue Visas and COPR.
If the CHC in Islamabad remains closed, nothing will get done until they reopen and start finalizing files.
I hate to say it but expect double processing times due to this worldwide mess from covid. The limited Flights operating everywhere are VERY expensive too
Stay safe and it would be better to have your spouses visit and/or stay with you in Pak to help manage LONG wait times....spend time together there.
Covid has screwed up everything worldwide, better pack lots more patience, or dare I say, even prepare/look for alternates to Canada.
It's easy to say this but it will help you to be prepared for this long wait......
Pak applicants already had the worst processing time of +1yr even before covid.
Now it would be even worse.
Hello. No offence but can you not try to shatter people’s hopes. Mine is riding on the fact no damn PPRs have been sent in the last four months because of LVO being closed. I am not caring about whether the one in Lahore or Islamabad is open because I’m pretty sure the courier service is still happening even if the actual places are closed so progress can still be made in the process.
Now if you excuse me, I’m going to continue holding to that hope because it has been 17 and a half damn months since we started so the LVO being open tomorrow better mean some progress gets done for someone if not us at least and soon!

Pakistani spousal applications are processed in London, so it is very much of concern for us whether London office is open or not. I do not know of the mandate of Canadian visa offices in Pakistan but they do not process spousal applications. Only passport is sent to CHC Islamabad for sticking of temporary visa for travel to Canada on COPR. CHC Islamabad seems to be working since they have been issuing TRVs to visitor visa applicants recently.

Yeah i think LVO needs to open to process our applications. There is a part on the Vfs karachi website where it says if you have been asked to submit your passport by IRCC follow this link. Im not 100% sure but i dont think we need to wait until pakistan vfs opens.
Hey they ask me for addtional document they need my husband travel histoey they ddn ask for pics so should we sent ??? And the thing is they wrote ur travel history supplementary information wats this?

I am applying for a visit visa on behalf of my wife. What is a good length of stay to state in the application? Also, my wife doesn't have any assets or job. Should i be transferring money to her bank account and if so how much?

Just for the safe side, you can say, ** Stay in Canada wouldn't be more than 6 months or less that will be more better*
If you have strong financial background, I guess, that will be good enough, because you are the sponsor, you gonna take care of her.
Just send your last 2 years tax returns, 3 to 4 paystub and a letter from your employer that it's your permanent full time job.
InshaAllah Allah Pak will do his best for you guys.
All these are speculations that VFS London has nothing to do with the Pakistani applications, then why CPC Sydney sent our files to London, they should have sent these to VFS Pakistan. As i know VFS Pakistan is closed for in-person appearances, they are providing the essential services as the LVO provided before. Please don't loose the hope, In Sha Allah we all get the updates very soon may be this week or in the next week. so wait is going to be over.

Files are transferred to High Commission of Canada in United kingdom not in visa application center in United kingdom.
Visa application center will resume their work from today, but not confirmed about high commission of Canada in united kingdom would resume their work on spousal application.

Can we order gcms notes if we are under the 12 month processing time for our application
