i have a question, urgent help is needed,

my wife received her passports with visa. but my son did not get the visa. islambad sent back his passport empty. he is a canadian citizen because of me. i have applied for his poof of citizenship which will take time. but for now he needs to travel with his mom. they did not say anything y they did not stamp his passports nor they endorsed him on mothers passport. my wife only got the visa. he was added onto the file now nothing. this is so irritating. please help what should i do? i need some travel document for my son as well to so they ca get on that plane

your son is a canadian national you apply for his birth certificate and then for his canadian passport. this can be done from canadian embassy pakistan. then he can accompany his mother. you should immediately contact cic and embassy in pakistan as well.

I recently sent LVO an email inquiring about the time line, etc. I'll post their response, it might be helpful to some of you.

Dear Sir/Madam,



Your application is part of an inventory of files that was transferred to London from Islamabad. The posted processing time for cases being processed in London does not accurately reflect the current processing time for these transferred files from Islamabad. At the time of the transfer, the processing time for Family Class applications in Islamabad exceeded 32 months. Since the transfer, we have been devoting resources to process this inventory and bring the processing time within the departmental standard of 12 months. The processing time has already improved significantly. However, we have not reached the departmental standard yet. In order to give you a sense of the current processing time on the inventory of files transferred from Islamabad, please note that we are currently reviewing applications submitted in May-June 2013.



Rest assured that as soon as your file is reviewed, we will contact you about the next steps. Please wait to hear from us.

This means cases that were transfered directly to LVO from Mississauga will follow 12months time frame? This is what I am getting from their reply.

CHC ISB is dealing with Visit and students visa only I read it on the website few weeks back but cannot paste the evidence cause i totally have forgot the link address and location on the website
