Hi All,
In the interests of getting an idea of how processing times are affecting the London office, if you have applied DIRECTLY to London (not been transferred from Islamabad) then please post your timeline over here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/thread-for-outland-london-uk-applications-t49436.0.html;new#new
Then we can get you added to the London spreadsheet, linked in my signature. We are trying to get a better idea of how timelines are comparing for applicants who would be normally applying to London (British, Irish, Swedish, etc) as compared to Pakistani applicants being sent directly to London.
mine was transfer to london directly 10th january 2014 yesterday i get this email from them ... its clear now london time line never apply on us ....Dear Applicant,
This file is in a queue awaiting review by an officer. There is nothing additional we require at this time. Please refer to our website for processing times. The file can take up to 33 months to process.
Sincerely,

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Hi there,
I am in the process of sponsoring my spouse and dependent children from Pakistan. Alhamd O lillah, I have already got the approval from CIC in the beginning of this month. I have asked my spouse to sign the undertaken and declaration for CSQ and waiting for that. Insha Allah, I will receive that by courier in the coming week.
My application has been forwarded to the London Office by CIC Mississauga Office.
May I know about the forthcoming procedure/steps about the remaining process please? So that I prepare myself and my spouse mentally about that.
I am a permanent resident (QSW) and staying in Quebec.
Respect

Thanks for sharing this sheet with me. Isnt there a similar time line for Pakistani applicants?
If these time lines dont apply to Pakistanis then which one does?

Well to be very honest there are many cases being done within the london's timeline which is 11 months.
I am being very optimistic abt it. I dont know why aliya is very hopeless abt it although we had a discussion before as well. Anyways i am not here to convince anybody.
The reason for delayed responses for pakistan's spousal cases is the backlog that has been created for over and more than a year. If they had to maintain the timeline to 32 or 33 months, they wouldnt even bother to move the cases to london. Islamabad would keep the workload to the same pace as it was before.
And there wasnt only a SINGLE person whose case was done within a year. They are plenty. You will get to know only if you have visisted the forum in the begining.
Why is that 2012 applicants are hearing now from london, after february's mass transfer of files. Their priority is to finish them within 11 months whereas the timeline starts when the file comes to London and not when the case was filed. So they are irrelevant if you file the case in 2012 or 2013. Majority of pakistani applicant files were transfered in january and february 2014. And i see they are being called on for medicals and interviews. And whats more interesting is they are simultaneously processing cases for 2012 and 2013 just to make sure the applicants doesnt have to wait more and more.
and you applied in 2014 still i can see your anxiety. Please dont create panic. People here already suffered too much and specially those 2011 and 2012 cases. Cant you see first quarter of 2013 cases getting correspondence and even ppr and its their 16 or 18 month going on since they filed the application and 8th or 9th month since the transfer of files to london. So its definitely not 33 month atleast for me. It might take month or two beyond this but definitely not 33.
Keeping their stance that they replied the mail with 33 months timeline is just to discourage you not to make further inquiries.
And if you see london's outland spreadsheet there are many cases from last quarter of 2013 which is still not done. This means that it does not strictly follow 11 months but still it can go beyond 11 adding two or three more as well.

I second your thoughts and quite optimistic that LVO will follow the 11 months timeline. I have quoted this example few times back on different forums that one of my friend's wife got PPR1 & 2 in August 2014, though her file was transferred from Islamabad only two months back i.e. in June 2014. Her case was filed at Islamabad in July 2012.
