Just want to provide update on my application
i am may 2nd, 2017 applicant.
Cic requested updated Schedule A on Jan 19 (we submitted the same day)
On Jan 20 2018 received pre-arrival message.
And there is no update after that, any idea how many more days it will take for DM/PPR ?

Re-medical request received 24th Jan, interview letter initially on 25th Jan, revised on 15th Feb (read on, will explain).
Initially interview date was set at 6th march, then about a week ago I received an email that interview is rescheduled to 10th april! Both myself and the wife were so frustrated that we responded saying very politely that we are ok with 10th april BUT we have already made travel arrangements for 6th march to isloo so can you reconsider the same date?
Anyhow they found a slot on feb 27th instead, and said either do this or april 10th or after. So here I am, flying to karachi then isloo this weekend, interview on feb 27th..
Would appreciate any last min advice from folks here. We practiced a list of questions from another thread here, and I ordered GCMS notes on Jan 29th. Not sure if they would arrive in time to guide us..
So that is great news they are conducting interview monthly basis. Since the email we received from LVO mentioned the
1) INTERVIEW happen quaterly
2) And will be conducted by same IMMIGRATION OFFICER who handle your file.
That means he also has to make travel arrangements to ISLAMABAD for the interview on top of quaterly interview schedules. Or maybe it is the officer change of travel plans ?
I have ordered notes on Jan 20th, 2018 and received today Feb 21st, 2018 so not much waiting.
But according to notes as far as I understand, after 7 months of my applications, no eligibility review even started. No BGC no Criminility check started.
Any thing particular i have to look or check in my notes?

somewhere in the notes (first few pages I think), you will come across, SECONDARY REVIEW. can you let me know what it says about your group number/name, etc? Some of us on FB were discussing this today and all of us are in the same group for the secondary review .. so I wonder if you are in the same group and we all may end up being processed at the same time ..
Any one like Riya and Khurram khan who got dm on feb 15 and waiting for ppr checked the gckey??

yes sponsor's approval wont take much time and normally approved with 2-3 months.
But person being sponsored ..OMG .. it is a real nightmare for all of waiting here... and our golden days our married life are going in drain

Yes and the result will be the same. You have to understand how the immigration system is working currently. There is ABSOLUTELY no timeline pressure on the Visa Officers. They only promise 12 months was due to change in the process NOT because there is a change the management of the officers.
So if your file goes through the regular process you will see some DECISION in 12 months if it requires INTERVIEW, PFL, BG etc it easily crosses 1 year timeline without any promise how long will it take further.
Writing to Minister would not do much unless there is collective protest, dharna from all Canadian citizens / PR outside Minister office building demanding speedy results.

you are right. The fAQ section said 10mb but its actualy 4mb.
so what i did is i have pasted all pictures in microsoft word page. and then there is an option to compress pictures to 96dpi. and then save it as pdf.
it reduces the file size alot. and then i uploaded the pictures.
has any one recently filled out the form 5533e
documents checklist.
last page asks for signatures for this form.
Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)
<> Principal applicant
<> All other family members of the principal applicant
what does it mean by signature of all other family members. does it mean kids that maybe on the application and have a seperatly filled 5406 form. . becuase there is no space to get signatures from other family members like siblings or parents.
any one has any idea.?
