my spousal immigration application was submitted in mid of June 2017, in end of July 2017 i received to have my medical done, so in mid of August 2017 i had my medical done, in mid of September 2017 my wife who is sponsoring me received an email that my has been transferred to LVO for further processing.
so now when i check my application status with CIC online tool is says Medical cleared
and when i check GCKEY is says they are accessing my eligibility, o yes my wife already recieved an email stating she`s eligible to sponsor in initial stages. question is people say spousal immigration is being done very fast paced these days but it`s been months i havent heard from them....so what`s next after wait, and how long of more wait am i looking at?
police certificates etc have already been uploaded from my gckey before application was sent to LVO
Average times are still 7-9 months. The goal is to be processed in 12 months. Trust me I know it's hard, but be prepared for 9 months minimum, anything before that is just chance.

as every one said 6-9 months but it could be 12 months or more. Not everyone getting spousal immigration in 6-9 months. There are few lucky ones. Not sure what is the criteria but this is what it is. Mine application already done 6 months no word from LVO.
I have a question on my gc account they also asked to upload passport which i did and my husband will give it in islamabad for visa was it a mistake uploading passport cause it says visa exempt countries only need to submit passports on gc account please help and let me know thanks
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue as mine.
I have send my application on the 1st week of November and due to it being incomplete it was sent back to me on the 2nd January.
Although it has been sent back I still have not received it and today it is the 18th of January.
I have called them and requested the information about my application but have not received any details. I have contacted the Canada post they don’t have any detail. I have confirmed that all the details that the package was sent back were correct. My address name etc everything was correct.
Can anyone confirm there timeline of return and what I could do in this case? Thank you.

There was no need to upload passport copy since you aren't from a visa exempt country. Since you have already submitted passport via VFS, now you just need to wait to get it back with visa stamped.

Okay got that thanks but still is it going to be a problem because i already uploaded the passport too?

wait. if you visit your spouse and want to give evidence of your trip to, or feel you want to upgrade IRCC with additional communication proof send that in, otherwise wait.
Im trying to apply for GCMS Notes, what should i select here "What type of record would you like to request?"
1. Permanent Residence
2. Family Class, Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class OR Refugee Sponsorship
And then
Status Update of File/Reason for Refusal/Officer's Electronic Notes
The application, supporting documents and correspondences sent to and/or from IRCC?
