Hey Everyone: Im super confused hoping someone can help! We got a letter for my husband (PA) to fill up Schedule A form plus the Police Clearance. However, I am little stumped, when it says that all the Family members over 18 must complete the schedule A plus the PC. Who is the family member for my hubby? Is it like his mom dad and all that or is it me? Like I just need to know who should complete these. They said it should be sent in by November 9. Also, where do I upload these online?! Any help would be great!!!!!
They are only referring to the people on the application. So since you are sponsoring your husband he needs to fill out his information as well as his siblings etc. So in total there is still only ONE copy but from your husband's perspective and his parents, siblings etc.

Ahh. Thats the confusing part. So You only had one form, but in that one form you added all the PA info plus his/her family? Did you do a Police Check for the PA and family as well?

No so the Police certificate is for the applicant only as they are listed on the application, this would be required for countries the PA has stayed/been a resident in for 6 months or more (thought people get it for all residencies regardless of duration of stay).

Thanks for sharing the info. I have added you to the spreadsheet ( see link in my signature). Please do let us know when u receive any further updates on your file.
Just to let you know, we havent done the rukhsati yet. Because my husbands family and friends all live in canada, and they were unable to attend the nikkah, we wanted to have the rukhsati in Canada. Ive sent an explanation letter explaining this as well as the preparations we have already done, eg. quotes for banquet halls, decorations, menu, the guest lists, etc... We also mentioned that many of my relatives also live there, and that my grandmothers both have a multiple entry visa so that they can attend the rukhsati there. We are planning to have it as soon as I arrive there.
Do you think there will be any objections to this?
Since I applied back in 2016 I have forgotten whether my sponsor filled another copy of Sch A or not. 2017 applicants will co firm this for u in a bit.

Well I think that you have explained your reasons and provided related proofs so it should be good enough for the visa officer. Keep the prayers going, pray that your visa officer accepts this and approve your file.
i apologize in advance as im sure this would have been asked before.
is it better to have my wifes name changed before applying or have it changed after shes in Canada? im thinking that having it changed in Pakistan will just delay the process more since all her documents including passport have her original name on it
Name Change? Whats important is you get your name in her NIC, Passport and updated marital status etc. Changing her last name is an optional/personal thing.
1) Update marital status of PA and add husbands name on CNIC & PP. This must be done.
2) In addition if your wife wants to take up your name she can change her last name to your name when filling the CNIC/PP forms.
@MM345 I was wondering. We submit so many proofs to VO, what ever comes to our mind thinking that hopefully it all will work..
But we never attach any story behind it, like hey went to NADRA and changed our names on PP and CNIC. Then we went to all these places and here are the receipts and then we faced these and these troubles also as couple when were on outing.
We do send pictures and invoices and bills copies, maybe wedding cards.
Have you seen a case where people also write the story behind each document they are submitting and explaining why they did what during stay together? And thats a valid proof. I mean can we highlight our proofs ourselves saying hey if we can see it you should too?
