Hi everyone, May 25 Applicant. Two days ago i received request letter to provide Sch A, Birth Certificate, Passport Size pictures and Family Lists and household registry. But i have already submitted Schedule A two weeks ago, Birth Certificate, Passport Size Pictures on the time of submission of application then why they are asking to provide all these docs again, any help? And what is meant by Family Lists or house hold registry?

Family list could be the family tree doc issued by NADRA. Please contact IRCC regarding the re-submission request. Let them know you submitted these docs and they will tell you whether they received it or not.

If you don't have enough room (not sure if that is what you meant) then use additional paper. Reference the form number and the question number and list all the names and details you want to give there.

Thanks a lot for the detailed response. I will make sure that both visas are not applied together. This is why I am doing my complete homework to take the right steps as I am not married yet and will be once I do soft landing and come back.

Reading above, I would personally prefer to avoid student visa. I should go there ASAP and get a job an sponsor her under spousal sponsorship so that the case is simple and clear.

I was just afraid of the following:-

-- I have heard spousal sponsorship may take 3 years or so (which I believe now takes 12 months. But I am/was still worried)
-- I was worried about minimum income requirement (which you already clarified and I also researched on it that LICO is not for spousal sponsorship).
-- I was also worried that I have to gather tax returns for 1 year or so to attach for spousal sponsorship, based on the fact that I will be new immigrant and my tax return may only cover 6 or 7 months.

These were my worries which are easing out one by one as I am reading and talking to people.I believe its not as hard as people talk about it. I am doing my research also on CIC website. Your replied to my above concerns will be helpful too.

Good choice Bro! Processing times vary from case to case but Wives visas get processed faster On average. I don't think you have to attach tax returns. Previously they only asked for option-C from Canada revenue agency.

I would just encourage you to resubmit the documents as soon as possible and try to save any wasting of time in inquiring about the previously submitted ones. I read in some threads before about LVO misplacing documents so may be they were unable to find these in your file. Did you link your file to GCkey account? In mycic you will see spaces to upload the requested documents in digital form. Just upload there or send via case specific inquiry or email and courier them hard copies.

Upon re-medical done in Karachi? Does the medical center provides any documents to upload on CIC portal?

Just received the following message from IOM islamabad:-
"This is to acknowledge that your medical is submitted to eMedical electronically."
Does it mean that my medical has been cleared?

I am currently in canada and i applied for my husband he only went to india 3 times in 10 years but yes I do have travel history but i think they shouldn't concern with my travel history as i am already here.

I don't know what they're doing. Is background check in process? There's no update on my husbands background check on ECAS.
