If you have received a letter in your mycic accounts that starts as follows then this would be your passport request:

"Dear XXX,

The processing of your application for PR in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days...

Step 1: Change in Circumstances
Step 2: Passport requirements
Step 3: Prepare your docs
Step 4: Submit your docs"

If yes, then its a very good sign, this means your application has been approved and they will give you Immigrant Visa on your Passport. Many congrats.

Can you please provide the following dates/information of your case so we can know that LVO is working on which files right now. Thanks a lot, it will be very helpful for the rest of us who are still waiting.

Sponsor ECAS updated to DM decision made. Email received for approval of sponsor eligibility. Applicant received a message to upload imm 5546. Military details etc. What you guys say next?

Even if they are not asking for passport yet, It is still a Good news As they are asking for additional document, it means they have opened your file at least.
Were you part of London Pilot Project? Can you plz share some details?

He has clearly mentioned that they have asked for PP not additional docs.
If its august applicant then very slim chance of being part of LPP.

Bcz he was not asked for photographs, I assumed lvo misplaced copy of his passport & just asked for a copy again. Do they ask for a Passport copy alone if they are going to issue visa or they ask for Passport photos also?? After August its gonna be our turn soon InshAllah. Therefore thinking to be proactive with keeping my ducks in line

A passport request is a 7 page letter and it includes everything that needs to be submitted (including photos).

After 7.5 months of submitting application, the only reason that I can think of asking for passport is for immigration Visa. Still waiting for confirmation from GAbbas786.

Okay Got it. On sheet its green and mention PPR request received... if its not conform then admin must change it and mention in remarks PP copy requested. it will confuse to others because not yet its sure either is PPR or only PP copy they requested....
