Can someone please guide me, i have a received a letter from cic asking to submit police certificate from everywhere my brother in law lived as of age of 18. i need to know if anyone knows the procedure for USA and Canada please. as he is in canada since 2016 but was in US and Canada before

bcas if ur medical expire date is soon then may be they waiting to request remedical...when u send additional documents request?

I had my medical in october and thats the same time i sent them the additional documents.. they requested for a new schedule A form and police certificate in january which i sent immediately.. no communication from LVO since.. actually i applied in the beginning of 2016 and my file strtdbeing processed in the LVO around june 2016 but due to an address mix up i didnt get the letter requesting for medical and add docs in time.. significantly delaying my processing

they start background checks when you pass eligibility

Background Check in Progress for my application.....

Means I passed eligibility ? (means all good) ....

Is it good sign ?

What is next after BG in Progress ?

How long i have to wait till I get Passport Request ?

Guys I have one question
How much does it matter if I didnt visit Pak ever since I got married? I heard it strengthens ones case if it shows a person visited his/her spouse.

Really quick and urgent question. My wife received a request letter (we believe it is PPR).

At the bottom of the letter there is an Appendix A (Updated Information Chart:

It asks information for the principal applicant (passport number, eye color, height et cetera) and also for the spouse/partner.

My question is, does ONLY my wife have to fill in her information or do I also have to put in my information?

I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my wife from Canada. Since the passport request is for her, it does not make sense for me to put in my information. Please let me know. Thanks

I think in this case your wife's info will go under the principal applicant and your's under the spouse/partner

Visit makes your case stronger. They usually ask u the reason why u didn't visit.

non of my wife original documents Please advise how any one here
get back their original documents back from LVO.

they send the original documents through tcs. I know someone who didnt get their documents after the pr came .. email them with URGENT in the subject. Hope u get ur documents soon. All the best.
