When u get the notes do have a detailed look on the more recent date before ur file was put away. I think LVO does have a look at the files around 4-5 months of applying to check for completeness of docs submitted. I ordered mine in Jan 2016 and they revealed that my file was last assessed on 6 Dec 2016 but then it was Put Away :/

Il order mine in first week of March IA. Let us know what urs reveal and il share mine when i get them.

1) Do what ur application package and instructions tell u to do. Don't refuse to follow their instructions at any cost. I think rules and instructions have changed since dec 2016. you will have to go through that
2) Spousal visas are processed in London visa office and time frames vary between 6-12 months. Average time for processing as indicated by spreadsheet maintained by forum admins is around 8-9 months.
3) Im sorry i have no experience of this since mine was simply made by the clifton cantonment board (CBC).

That is for completeness only, not for elligibility.
Yes, my first notes showed put away for an officer to be reviewed for elligibility. Main thing is eligibility so i think still no one has look for eligibility. . My observation is that since the introduction of new timelines, they are focusing on to complete every application by 12 months and particularly focusing on those who have been waiting for more than 12 months. This means that now most of us will be around 11-12 months.

If you are applying after Dec 2016 then there is no requirement for Upfront medical and police certificate.

You get marriage certificate from Nadra, which is different from the Nikka Namah. So you will need your original nikkah nama , certified translation of nikkha nama and marriage certificate from Nadra.

Hi folks!

Hope everyones well. I had a question in mind, I hope the seniors csn help.

I am a Citizen sponsoring my wife. I m an ocotber applicand and obviously I havent heard anything as of yet. The application package I sent is pretty strong ( photos of everything etc) and I am living here with my wife. If CIC asks for additional documents, what might they ask
for in my case and what should I prepare beforehand so it doesnt cause delay. any ideas?

Aug onwards applicants have yet not heard back from LVO

I think you should be ready with photos after oct 2016 with families and couple ones too, any outing receipts, shopping receipts in my opinion. Maybe some facebook posts/check ins of you both, anniversary/birthday gifts and celebration proofs if u have celebrated any.
It is better to keep these things ready beforehand and send them across as soon as LVO demands.

Hi.. the last time i looked at the london spreadsheet they were about a month shorter on processing times as pakistani applicants. However, recently i have noticed that most UK applications go to ottawa and very few are processed in London. Ottawa ones obviously get done much quickers (approx 4 months).

In my opinion, keep a time frame of 8-9 months in mind for processing. The current pace of LVO is actually worrying for everyone here and we are all hoping that they pick up some pace in March or we might be looking at 10-11 months mark too

They asked on 31 january 2017 and gave 45 days to submit
