Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Hello every one.
My file has been submitted for last 7 months. I applied in
Apirl sponsorship approvel I got in may and my file has been transferred in june to London visa office after that I didn't get any response I did upfront medical before my case has been submitted they had some issues in medical so they send me request for further sputum tests which I already done with panel physician. In my ecas they mentioned my medical results have been received my medical is gona expired in next month 20 th I am worried they will ask me for remedical? Because sputum test reports takes 2 months for results & I also wana know my medical results are passed how can I know. Kindly add me spread sheet as well. Thankyou.

How the spousal sponsorship works i.e. Steps
London Visa Office Processing time is 11 Months
Dear all just for the clarity i m posting the process of Family sponsorship for understanding of all of thread members.
Phase 1: Sponsor's Approval
1. Sponsorship application submission (AT CPC-Mississauga)
2. First Email: application of sponsorship received by CPC-Mississauga (with in a week time or 10 days)
3. 2nd email: Sponsorship approval and File is sent to London Visa office for further processing (with in 1 month)
or if you are an old applicant (Islamabad Visa Office) then your file is transferred to LVO. whether you get email or not your file is in London.
Phase 2: Visa Office Stage (Principle Applicant or Spouse)
Steps: Eligibility Assessment (Relation is Genuine or not) > Re-Med if required > Back ground checks > PPR 1 > PPR2 > Visa Issued
5. Eligibility Assessment: Additional documents or Interview request from LVO to assess eligibility.(between 5-8 months is my best guess) Interview will most likely held in Islamabad but interviewer will be a person from LVO not from Islamabad (Interview is only to assess whether relationship is genuine or not).
6. background checks will be done after relationship is confirmed by Visa officer.
Passport request is Two step process as Pakistani law does not permit sending passport out of country
7. Passport request 1. PPR1 sending copies of the passport and pictures to LVO (30 days) (immediately send to LVO on given address)
after receiving your copies of passport and pictures. LVO will issue Visa and COPR issued as per your passport and send it to Islamabad
8. Passport Request 2. PPR2. Original passport and return address needs to be sent to Islamabad. (usually 30-45 days after PPR1) Send PPs through TCS visatronics
9. Visa is being pasted on Passport. VISA along with COPR is sent to your return address.
10. You are ready to land.........
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
hello folks, quick question... my wife has sent me certified copies of all her documents from Pakistan. I was wondering whether my copies (canadian passport, divorce certificate, etc...) have to be certified copies or will regular photocopies be okay?

Its up to the visa officer if he wants you to remedical or extend your medical. I called IOM the next day after my test to inquire if I passed the medical test or not.

If you have valid CNIC and Passport than no need to change anything. They don't care if your status is married or not on your CNIC and Passport.

It is not a CIC requirement that you change nic and passport to husband name. However, they do know the norms and culture of Pakistan. Anything you can do to show your relationship is genuine will only make your case stronger.
If it is easy for you then I would strongly recommend you do so before applying. Btw, my wife did not update her nic and passport before applying. Later on we wish had.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Not a good weekend for me
Got message from CIC that my Relationship is not genuine. What should i do next. Any advice will be appreciated:
You do not appear to meet these requirements because:
I noted that you submitted a very small number of photographs from your wedding and from the time you have spent with your sponsor after your wedding. This raises my concerns regarding the genuineness of your relationship with your sponsor.
I noted that you have not submitted evidence that you indeed celebrated the Rukhsati after your marriage. Therefore, it appears that you have not followed the cultural norm in traditional Pakistan weddings of celebrating the Rukhsati after the wedding celebrations, and this is a serious concern regarding the bona fides of your relationship.
You have indicated that your wedding reception was attended by a large number of guests. I am aware that an important part of a wedding in Pakistan tradition is that it is celebrated within the wider family and wider community. However, based on the wedding photos you have submitted, it appears your wedding was celebrated among a limited number of guests. This apparent deviation from the cultural norm raises concerns that your wedding may have taken place in order for you to gain permanent residence in Canada.
In your application you stated that you have cohabited with the sponsor for a period of 7 days. I noted, however, that you have not celebrated the rukhsati and , therefore, in view of the traditions and cultural norms in Pakistan, find it unusual that you have cohabited. This apparent deviation from the cultural norm raises concerns regarding you and your sponsor’s commitment to each other in a bona fide relationship.
Subsection 11(1) of the Act states that the visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. It appears that you do not meet the requirements of the Act for the reasons set out above.
This additional information must include the following documents
Communication, proof: Proof of communication (photos, letters, E-mails, phone bills), between you and your sponsor. Updated evidence of communication including emails, Skype, WhatsApp, Facetime, Viber, etc. Please also include evidence of financial support paid to you by your sponsor.
Client Information: Documents/evidence in response to the officer's concerns addressed in the letter.
If you choose not to respond with additional information within 30 days, I will make my decision based on the information before me, which may result in the refusal of your application.
Sincerely,
Immigration Officer
