Question, is there any specific link/URL to login to mycic account... It seems like I always have to try 3-4 time where after signing in it goes back to Immigration page ...

Its the same log-in page for everyone. Sounds like a browser issue. Try using a different browser.

Hey everyone,

Received PPR today. (Nov 14th) Alhamdulillah.

Just like Taha317, I can't seem to understand the sending passport process using VFS. It states using VFS in the PPR but do we HAVE to send the passport by VFS or can we use any other reliable couriers.

ALSO, can't my husband just go to Islamabad and hand it in himself or is that not allowed? Please let me know. Thanks.

VFS website has the 3 locations listed of Visa application centers for Canada (VAC) www . vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Pakistan/contact_us.html

In Pakistan passports must be submitted for visa issuance to the VAC's located in Islamabad, Lahore, or Karachi. They use Gerry's as courier. Take your passport, photos, and schedule A to the closest VAC. Pay the rs 1700 or so fees and wait for them to msg or call you when passport is ready for pick up.

Thanks for explaining, I can't seem to find the Islamabad location address online. Would you know by any chance? It's such a relief that the passport can be picked up. Alhamdulillah.

Jazzak Allah.....The doc request on Sep 12 was sent from CES (CD).

PPR was sent from RIH (Program Assistant).

Here is the exact question from the doc request:

"Client Information: Please explain how your family and the family of your sponsor were connected before your marriage. Were your families related? If not, how were they acquainted?"

I obviously did not give a detailed enough explanation in the actual application. In most straight forward Pakistan cases the families have some kind of relation before marriage.
