We now received an email that his passport is gonna expire in march 2017 n tht if he wants to get the visa on this passport or a new one if he has already made or intends to. Can anyone suggest what stage are we at?? And that if he applies for a new passport will take more time. If i were you i would renew my passport and send it to CIC. What I have heard is that your passport should be valid for atleast 6 months to travel to any country. They are near to making decision so renew your passport as soon as possible and send copy of it to LVO. It wont delay anything the only delay you gonna face is 1 week to get your new passport.

Any Nov/Dec applicant who have a child? I guess they take more time if you have a child.
Why would it take longer?
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
We may not hear anything today since LVO could be observing Remembrance day

Because their PR is not conditional and can't be deported later on?

I thought it only takes more time if the PA becomes pregnant? Because when you report to LVO that the PA is pregnant, they would request a re-med (which includes X-rays..not 100% sure about this), and you obviously can't have an x-ray done during pregnancy. So you'd have to wait until delivery + the time it takes for re-med, for LVO to further process your application. Even if you don't report it, LVO is bound to find out if they request a re-med, and I've been seeing re-med requests left and right here. On the other hand, if you already had a kid before applying, you'd just include them on your application as a dependent from the onset. So I see no reason for any delays if you had your child on the application from the day you filed your application..PLUS all of the required documentation proving it is indeed your child. Missing/insufficient documents = delays.
With that said, LVO is still very unpredictable. Just can't figure out how they work. I just hope for the best for everyone and we all get through asap.
