You have a right to hold any opinion and derive any conclusions from the statistics shown anywhere and it has nothing to do with the immigration rules. However, I just needed the right information to be out for all the members.
Please also update your knowledge about UAE citizenship/nationality laws. Note that anyone can become UAE citizen by naturalization if they pass the eligibility criteria. One of my very good American friend has recently got nationality as she was married to an Emirati from last 12 years. One of my senior colleague (originally from Lebanan) runs a corporate law firm in Dubai and he also holds Emirati Citizenship from many years. It is rare to become Emirati citizen but not impossible.

are you aware that up until december 2015, CIC used to list processing times by visa office rather than residency? they even had data sets to show exact performance figures (apps in backlog, apps approved, apps pending, etc) over at their open data portal which i used to check regularly. their rationale for moving away from displaying stats by visa office is that they now have the ability to process applications at any visa office around the world in order to "maximize efficiency". yet oddly enough, sponsorship applications for pakistani families always seem to end up at LVO regardless of where the principal applicants are residing.
so with all that said, there's no arguing that the most significant factor in application processing time is the
visa office, and that brings us to another question: what's the average processing time for LVO?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Hi friends,
I'm still for PPR.!!
I have again contacted with VO and he advised that they are still waiting for my routine background checks results and they have no control on timeline so they will update me about further step as soon as they'll have my background check results.
What can I do to expedite this process as its been 32 months since I applied. Any suggestion from anyone will be really helpful for me.
Thank you and will look forward for your suggestions.

Hi Vigilant,
I am a PA residing in the UAE. I didn't send the IMM5562 form as it wasn't a part of the document checklist. I only sent the IMM3907 form. It seems like they ask for information last 10 years or since your wife turned 18, which ever period is longer. Taking that into account, you need. Considering you've only posted entries from 2009, you may have to give information about her history starting from 2006 as well? Just taking a guess here. Hope it helps!
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I figured this out yesterday and added two more lines till 2005. I hope this will be suffice. I missed this part earlier as in Back Ground checks they mentioned most recent of when you become 18 years old or last 10 years. And this message popped up in My CIC account which we created with help of GC Key.
Thanks..
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Seniors,
I have received the SA few days back and I think after that normally the files are being transferred to LVO for PA processing. But in my case the request which we received for re submission of Supplementary information is from Mississauga. Is this something new or it happens usually.
Thanks...

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Salam alaikum wr wbr.,
Following is the info on my spouse's permanent residence mycic account:
-------
Profile Status: Open
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of Medical Results: Review in Progress
Review of submitted docs: Blank space
Interview: Not needed at this time
Background check is needed: In Progress
-------
Does LVO have my Spouse's medical results from Pakistan? Or they mean that they have the receipt of the medical that I sent them and they are waiting to review if they really have the medical? Confused here.
Since they already asked to complete the medical, does that mean that my spouse's interview has been waived? Also the background check is in progress. Would it be wrong to assume that they already have her eligibility passed before they would order a background check?
Or the eligibility is based on the background check? It's confusing because the first step is Elegibilty review.
If anyone knows, please tell what to expect next and how long before I can hear back from LVO. The medical request was sent in late September 2016. I am February 2016 Applicant.
Thank you!

Medical was done upfront on 05-May-2016.
LVO requested medical on 20-Septembet-2016.
Information about the Completed Medical was sent to LVO on 22-September-2016.
Thank you
