sounds good. being asked for a remed at the same time as the doc request usually means your eligibility is a recommended pass. the VO just wants to ensure you're still communicating with your spouse before proceeding to finalize your case.

"Communication, proof: Evidence of frequent and meaningful communication between you and your sponsor from the date of application (February 2016) onward."
I did send them the proof of communication when I filed, but now they just want to make sure if I continued to talk to my wife after filing the application back in Feb. 2016.

Hey flx205 just giving an update that I still haven't got any response and it has been overtime now. I emailed LVO and they replied bck that the application is with an immigration officer and they have received the docs. My mp also told me that the backgrounds and medicals have been cleared already. I'm getting worried as its almost 12 months now. Can you guide anything, please...

looks like they're still hung up on eligibility. i think they were unsatisfied with the proof of residency you sent them back in september. you said that you sent a bank statement, an employment letter and a pay stub, but is there anything else apart from this that you can provide? utility bills and rental/mortgage agreements would be ideal. also notarized letters from close family members living with you in canada may help as well.

Guys my wife got an email that her passport is been dispatched from canada visa office islamabad on friday 04 Nov, 2016 . It means she can go on monday to collect it ?

But they told me if they needed anything more they would've asked me- I sent them all roof they asked me and even discussing it with the mp she also said that the proof I sent was good enough- I honestly am worried its like almost an year and no good news!!

we only get one chance to respond to each doc request. when they receive your docs, they follow the assumption that whatever you sent was the best you could provide.
