Yes his file went to LVO. Thats all i know.
SA letters are sometimes incorrect. HRK's SA letter said that her file went to Ottawa when it was actually at London... so i'm wondering whether your friend's file was actually sent to Ottawa even though his SA letter might have said London. only way to know for sure is to check which email address the PPR letter came from.

That was my first question . I asked him where did your file got transferred. He said LVO . I asked how did you find out he actually called them and later got sponsorship letter in the mail.

yeah i know. like i said before, sponsorship approval letters are sometimes incorrect. i've seen way too many examples of SA letters saying that the applicant's file was transferred to Ottawa, Islamabad, Warsaw, etc., when it was actually sent to another VO.

wow, very interesting!
anyway congrats to him. we'll find out soon enough whether this was just a one-off exception or whether LVO really is starting to process the whole year in one batch.

bro, i during my immigration process i observed this thin of LVO that they started some applications from a month and then suddenly gave a break of next 2 or 3 months and started later month.
means if they are processing January applicants then suddenly they start April/may applicants and then FEB/MAR applicants.
it was very frustating at that time too,
i think they are doing same with Family sponsorship too
