Quick question,
I it necessary to change the status on NIC, before applying for the Family registration certificate or MRC would work on behalf? Also how much this is important, if one does not have any dependents?
Thanks

Tthats my concern I just don't know how these dharnas will impact processes. I know they are being done in london. But if Islamabad staff gets affected and there are business closures then there will be delay. I just hope this doesn't last for too long... :'( :'(

If your husband is sponsoring you than u don't need to change name on your CNiC. Also no need for family registration certificate if its only u and no children.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Salam Folks! When you submitted pictures of all the events and the various relatives, did you label the pictures by the relatives' names and provide a separate list showing who is who or did you actually label by description. For example, on a picture did you say...
Left to Right: Usman, Razia, Sana, Raina
or
Left to Right: Raina's brother, Salman's mother, Raina's sister, Raina
In the latter case I don't mention the names, just the relationship...
Thanks!!
Salman

This really depends on your preference. But generally speaking, it's better to give full name (with relation to you or your spouse in brackets). For example Junaid Hashemi (Abad Malik (grooms) uncle).
By giving the full name it makes the person seem genuine and formal as opposed to just Junaid or whatever.
I wrote on the back of printed photos by hand using pen, but some recommend printing the names then gluing them. Either way is fine. Just make sure that if you were the visa officer, would it make sense. And the "left to right" thing is fine, I did the same.

is this correct?
High Commission of Canada
P. O. Box 1042
Islamabad, Pakistan
My PPR email said only to be submitted via VFS, there is one in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi. Are you sure you can send directly to the embassy?
This is the page that says I can only send via VFS.

i know a september 2015 applicant who submitted directly to islamabad via TCS. i
was going to ask my wife to do the same thing but i've changed my mind.
i think it would be best not to take any risks and submit via VFS instead, as per the instructions in the PPR letter. i've heard horror stories about passports getting "lost" in embassies after applicants had submitted their passports there directly without going through a VFS...
