Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
i got my gcms notes back. do you know why they asked my wife for an updated police cert? because they didn't have one on file, despite the fact that we sent it with the original application. i even have scans to prove it. if they hadn't lost the police cert, there would not have been any doc request.
regardless, i'm not complaining because alhamdulilah my wife still managed to get PPR in a timely manner, and i'm very grateful for it because some people end up waiting even longer... but i have to wonder, why do they lose documents in the first place? and how many applications have they completely messed up because they lost vital documents? this should NOT be happening...

Yes we didn't submit a lot of pre marriage proofs: arranged marriage. i think they have enough proofs to decide we r married ..who cares about pre marriage proofs anyway.
Great ...then its all goof... ;D
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Hi guys,
Thank you for helping out with my previous queries. I need your guidance on the following question.
I know that the spouse (principal applicant) has to submit certified copy of information pages of the passport.
My question is do I (sponsor) need to submit copies of all my current and previous passports as well? and certified?
Thanks

Does that mean that we should just in case, send the scan copies of our docs to LVO through case specific queries? so they have a record. Dont want to wait for 6-7 months to get a doc request. Police certificate is original, but other than that all are copies.
What do you suggest guys.

no, just sit tight and wait. don't send in things they might already have.

I got a police certificate request for my wife despite the fact that I submitted it already, and was wondering why they don't ask from every body, why just me?? Now I know. Thanks for sharing the info. Congrats on passport request.

The risk is still there. This is horrible to receive doc requests for stuff which you already sent. This is causing so much delay..if u see the spreadsheet.

M Javaed don't wana scare you but Hepatitis B falls into chronic diseases depending on stage it is at I hope its a mistake at IOM end but I would say get tested somewhere else too .....
not for Immigration purpose just to assure and start medical procedure if its in early stages.

MM345, like we've said multiple times on this thread that LVO is very unpredictable. They lost flx's Police Certificate, I received PFL because they didn't had my baby's birth certificate and our nikkah nama which is vital to applications.
However, there are cases where applicants have received their PPR without any document requests, which you can see from the spreadsheet. You can't be too prepared with LVO. Just hang tight and assess the situation in few months to get a feeler by ordering your notes.

resending documents without being asked for them carries its own risks; LVO does not like duplicates and you'd only be creating confusion for their staff.
a rule of thumb is to never send anything to LVO unless they specifically ask for it. exceptions to this rule are 1) additional proof of relationship and 2) documents that you know you forgot to include with your initial app.
