Congratulations on your visa, at what stage of processing should we contact LVO regarding return of original documents?

The passport came back stamped after 1 week. No, myCIC did not update stating all of that, instead I was provided with a tracking number that I could use on the vfs's website that showed every update.

Remember not all original docs are sent to Pak...really depends on the visa officer, some send it to your Canadian address instead.

Yeah but if I am an immigration officer working on a file while updating the electronic file I'd be a bit vary of an MP calling every month on a file.. : :...But I hope your right..

they actually don't care about that at all. there are more important things to look for than the number of calls they receive or the number of ATIP requests we make.

my MP was doing monthly checks for me as well, and i ordered notes four times.

Now c'mon LVO...the remaining of nov and dec, and even some oct/15 applicants are still waiting!

In other news, I received a reply from LVO to my query of returning original docs and was told they were sent back in August to our address in Pakistan (which of course they weren't). My husband managed to contact the guy who takes care of receiving and forwarding original docs in Pakistan, and this guy apparently has ours as well! We will know for sure tomorrow when hubby goes to get them. Somewhat relieved !

Who is this guy and how do we contact him?

Just in case we're stuck in a similar situation when its our turn and need to reach out to him. Thanks

Thanks Snowy2015. Yes i received passport back. Did you send an email to LVO for original document request ? Can i send them email to inquire about it or call that guy first ?

Yes I did. Do which ever method suits you best.

If you don't receive them a few weeks after PPR, contact them.

I was wondering if I should order notes just to see whats going on with my file? With LVO already sending PPRs to February applicants and processing March applicants, June isn't too far out..

Honestly, it's too early for you. There won't be much. I'd say wait till December at the least.

Hmmm okay. One thing I am confused about; I was going through the pakvisa website instructions on how to order notes. For the consent part, it seems my wife (who is in Pakistan) would have to sign the consent form to allow me to order the notes on her behalf? How would I do this ???

That is correct. All she has to do is fill/sign it, and scan it & send it to you. Then you request the notes on her behalf by attaching the scanned form.

what should i answer that why my wifes family cant attend wediding bc perents r older and brothers and sisters r doing thier jobs but they allow her

Hi eveyone, I have got a question here? I am sponsoring my spouse and I received a letter request to submit the IMM5562 for travels. My husband didnt travel out of Pakistan and i only traveled from pakistan to Canada as a permanent resident here so should he be including my Canadian travels on this form or only information about him? Please advise?
