Hello.
My wife got her medical examination late September.
We are sending the application next week (November 22nd)
PR visa if approved is valid until when the medical report expires but PR applications in China take around 10 months.
This means that we may get approved end of August, early September giving the PR visa only 3 weeks of validity.
1. I don't want delays arising due to a request for a new medical examination.
Shall I preempt and do a new one again?
2. Since medical report was submitted to the embassy two months before our application form, is there any risk of the medical report getting lost since we still do not have a UCI number?

1. Don't do another medical unless they request it. If they are ready to issue the visa and the meds are close to expiring, CIC can request to extend the meds for another year.
IO can request for extension of Medical Results validity if it is less than 15 months old and is the only reason for finalization of application. Usually extension is for 12 months.
