Spousal Sponsorship Clarification

If you do as Rob_TO suggests I would include a cover letter explaining you had trouble remembering the exact start/stop dates and couldn't obtain information due to change of ownership, etc so you used your best guess. This protects you against a charge of 'misrepresentation', just in case an officer does check.

Thanks guys! I should have clarified that we were working on his employment history and I was just the one posting the question. We ended up calling the CIC help line since we had a couple other questions and they confirmed what everyone suggested here so we're less stressed about that now.

We're now working on my forms and everything is going pretty smoothly so far!

Questions about the Document Checklist- Immigrant (3910)

For the non-forms portion of the sponsored applicant's checklist there are several instances in which it asks for "you and each of your family members." Does this include my parents (and if so, my sister?) even if they have nothing to do with my spousal sponsorship?

E.g.
8. Identity and Civil Status Documents
Provide birth certificates, national identity documents, or other official documents confirming relationship for you and each of your family members.
Should I include my parents & sibling? Or just myself? Or perhaps myself and my sponsor?

11. Police Certificates & Clearances
Police certificates or clearances from each country in which you and everyone in your family aged 18 years or older have resided six months or more since reaching 18 years of age.
Is this for my parents & sibling as well?

13. Photos
Supply 4 recent photos for each member of your family and yourself.
Same idea- just myself or my parents & sibling too?

it is only for the person being sponsored. if you have other family members (ie children) applying to be sponsored too, then it goes in the package. The additional family information form is where you provide your parent/sibling informaton.
