Hi everyone, hoping to get some answers to my situation.

We got married on November 12, 2024, and my wife (with a valid tourist visa) traveled with me to Canada on Nov 25, 2024. I am planning to apply for her Outland spousal PR application as she will travel to India (her home country) for 3 weeks in February 2025. Thus, in the IMM5523 form, I will select the 3rd option - Living in Canada and applying for Family Class under the Class of Application.

However, I was confused with Section 7: Proof of Relationship to Sponsor. Though she is currently living in Canada on a tourist visa, we do not have documents (eg. joint ownership of residential property, joint utility bills, etc.) if we mark "YES" to "Are you and your spouse living together?". Moreover, I have documents if I answer "No" to "Are you and your spouse living together?", but that would be false information.

Question: Can I answer "Yes" to this question but provide documents that an outland applicant would attach? I will also attach a letter to explain why these documents aren't available.

If you are married and living together you should be able to provide some proof of that, proof that she is a dependent on things like insurance policies, etc.
