Same here 2019april noupdate wait for background check stuck ...no owp no approval i acll irrc agent say no need any documents wait for final desicion and you file in background check process and view eligilbilty ..now dec finsih almost being holidays now i thing now wait next year after10jan2022..so stress

IRCC webform right now will not reply if your enquiry is not a priority. my lawyer tried last week and told me so.

Omg..3 years and nothing.... I will deffinefly keep you in my prayer. I am from 2019 September..my file is at etobicoke also. My mp reach out to them and they say all stages are complete and pass just waiting for someone to finalize my application. So, keep praying you will be approved.

I m Nov,2019, two months later. if you saw my post before, I think IRCC shows the same meaning as they said "schedule an appointment to receive PR"

Hey guys, I received my notes..it says that eligibility is passed..
Security not started
Criminality in process.
My file was transferred to etobicoke in 2020. It's been over 2 years since I apply for PR..
In my notes the officer approved my application..
I payed my PR fees upfront with my application..
My question is what happens next??.. it's been so long and my security not started and criminality still in process.. Does passing eligibility means I can apply for work permit and apply for Ohip also??.. please let me know guys...thanks in advance..and everyone that is still waiting please dont stop praying because your break through is coming!!. Prayer is what kept me going because this thing is very stressful!!

You maybe can apply OHIP , here is what I find in Service Ontario. Is there anyone applied ohip successfully after meet eligibility ?
For applicants for permanent residence

• Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) letter (IRCC used to be called Citizenship and Immigration Canada, or CIC). The letter must:
  • be on IRCC letterhead, addressed to you as applicant
  • state IRCC has confirmed you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence in Canada and you have not yet been denied.
