My wife has applied for student visa and i have applied for spouce visa with her. we both got our visa she got student visa and i got visitor visa. now my question is my wife is in canada from last two months and i want to join her within 1 or 2 months . do i need any other papers from her university or from embassy to fly to canada ? or just stamped visa on my passport is enough ?

1. You should note that TRPs are only issued to persons who are inadmissible to Canada. The OP has a TRV, and when he enters Canada, he would have to show funds to support himself as well as a copy of his spouses study permit. He can also apply for an open work permit at the Port of Entry, if his spouse is enrolled in an eligible course of study.
ah ok, so that explains it. you travel to Canada on a Visitors Visa, at the PoE, show the required docs & funds and get a Open work permit stamped and stay there.

Actually i had my study permit for sep'10 session and my spouse want to apply for visitor visa n later wanna go for open work permit.
