I am a PR card holder but actually I reside and work in France and plan to settle in Canada at the completion of my work contract by July 2008. I have got married 3 months back and I want to sponsor my wife's application (who actually resides Pakistan) for permanent resident status to Canada.
I would just like to know if it is possible to sponsor my wife's application while I am working for non-canadian business in France as a permanent resident? What are the other avenus that I can possibly look for?

No, you have to be resident in Canada to sponsor as a PR.
