So , the day when they sent me to re do my medicals, they sent me a letter saying that i have the free services pre-arrival from the ircc . Few days later, it's showing in my cic account that they just started my background check which is confusing cuz i tought they already finished it
I think when they received your medicals they have to change the status again. I'm surprised they didn't ask you for you police clearance as well. I know its been too long of a wait for you but your almost finished.
For me I wish they change the status to "just started background checks"

Rendez vous au commissariat le plus proche .si nécessaire demande ton casier judiciare en français si vous habitez au Maroc .Après je t'invite a passé directement auprès de l'annexe ministre d'extérieures pour l'égaliser dh et puis envoi les doc via Amana de préférence Amana express 50dh 24h délais d'envoi .a savoir il faut absolument souligné votre nom et prénom sur le courrier avec votre Numéro D'application UIC .bonne chance

Non j'ai pas besoin de refaire la fiche anthropométrique vu que je les déjà envoyé 2 fois ! En plus mon dossier traine dans l'ambassade il y a 14 mois mnt ! Il faut qu'on m'appelle pour le PR card mnt parce que ça commence à m'ennerver vraiment

A mon avis il faut les avisés par email ou tel quand le delais de 12 MOIS Et écoulée. Je comprend parfaitement votre frustration. Inchaellah ykoun khir. J'avais pensé que votre cas ressemble a le mien vu que je vie en europe on m'avais demandé de fournir un autre casier judiciaire etc.

On the GCMS thread it shows a lot of people have been receiving them lately in the 30 days. I messaged them the first week of April and they said they were making my case a priority. I emailed them again May 15th and still haven't heard anything back. I am thinking about just reordering them from the start again. Wondering if it may be a problem getting the information on Rabat's end.

I was on a group chat for Mar 2018 applicants and someone said the GCMS notes are guaranteed to be delivered in 30 days. I've heard a few people request the notes from Rabat and never receive them. I think if I were you I would complain to the ATIP that you are not receiving the requests you submitted.

I did complain to ATIP but they won't respond to me anymore which makes me think they have no intention of sending out my notes. IRCC.ATIP-AIPRP.IRCC@cic.gc.ca is the only address they give you to contact them. I found another one on my own which is for the Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada general@oic-ci.gc.ca who is supposed to handle complaints about not receiving requests under the Access To Information Act, but I am not sure this is the person I should contact as I requested my GCMS notes through the Privacy Act. I think I will contact my MP and see if he at least knows who I can complain to. They are required by law to send these notes to us - I don't know why some Canadian visa offices are getting away with not doing it. I doubt there is anything much in my GCMS notes anyway, but they should have to send them to me if I request them.
It’s ridiculous that they are not sending you the notes. I’m worried that when I start requesting the notes, they will not send them to me, like they did to you. Since you did pay for it, shouldn’t they at least return the money to you? I can’t believe they can get away with this.

No they don't offer a refund, they just hope you will go away and forget about it. It is supposed to be a separate office in Ottawa that gathers the information, but they can't get the information without cooperation from the visa office. Some people on the GCMS thread said the email they received from the ATIP office actually said that the delay in getting their notes was because they were having trouble getting the information they need from the visa office to complete their request. Hopefully, the same thing won't happen to you when you request your notes - it's very frustrating.

Yeah Rabat is my visa office. I am a July 2017 applicant. I used to come on here all the time, but there was never anyone on this thread. I was getting depressed watching people from the July thread getting through in 5 or 6 months while I wasn't hearing anything, so I stopped checking here. I am glad to see there are other people here now - don't feel so alone waiting to hear something from Rabat.
This visa office is the worst! I had dealings with them about 8 years ago for an unrelated matter to my sponsorship application and they were bad then....even worse now. I guess I'll just have to sit and wait for them to make a decision on my husband's file since ordering the notes will likely get ignored or provide no information on what's going on over there. They are in Ramadan right now so I'm assuming the little they do anyway is even less right now.....(Sorry....frustrated and annoyed and really need this waiting for months on end to come to a close so I can get on with my life, no matter the decision they make.)
