We sent our application July 22. Immigration office here in Canada sent an email on Sept. 16 that I had been approved for sponsorship and they were sending our documents to Rabat. How long do you think it will be before they call my husband for an interview?
A few of us are still waiting that the applications went to Rabat before yours. We all keep each other informed and we will you also on this forum. I had read that it can take up to 8 months, but I am not sure when in the 8 months for the interview.

as terry mentioned, a few of us are still waiting to hear from the embassy in rabat.

its really hard to say how long it will be until any of us receive notice for an interview or anything.
from what ive read, some people get a heads up for an interview in as little as 3 months after the transfer and others several months later..
every case is different.

Goatlove is right as well, every case is different, so we have no choice but to try to remain patient in this waiting game 8) hence which makes this forum so helpful
My husband got a message from Rabat today needing a lot of paperwork. At least we know they have it and are looking at it. It scares me tho because maybe we got a flag. So worried right now.

A message via email or phone call? a lot of paperwork ... what do they need? if you don't mind me asking ;D
my husband got a quick call in July, I believe, just verifying some information on the application ... it was just a quick call and that's it.
but yes, you're right .. at least you know they have your file and it is being processed. Hopefully nothing to worry about and it's just them needing more background information

He has to get proof of us talking since the wedding, and proof of certain dates for personal and working history, any travel outside of Morocco, and an Antropometric sheet (I think that is how it is spelled) not sure what this is tho.
He will do that tomorrow, he has 30 days to reply to them, he has to send it to them in the mail. I will send him a message to help him get the information he needs.
