BTW your title is misleading. If you want to ask the same question in EE, change it to the actual issue. Again, you are NOT sponsoring your common law partner. You are trying to add him/her to your existing application.
Adding common law partner to your EE application after AOR. I think it's a pretty common thing. (btw becoming common law is also a martial status change)
i have question that i am PR in canada. i did common law in 2019 in canada but i got married to person who is in india. while applying for my spouse , should i need to mention about my common law in paper work. My spouse don't know about my past common law status.
or does cic ask any question to my spouse about my common law. Please advise.

You were sponsored to be a PR through a common-law sponsorship in 2019 and in 2021 you want to sponsor a spouse? You bet they're going to ask questions.
To add to the above, you will have to disclose this and they will see this anyways. You should tell your spouse now before it comes up during the application process (and it will). Better not have it be a big surprise.
Thanks. So if not this way, the only option I'll have later on is to sponsor him after we get married right? But I'll surely want to add him now as my Common law partner if its the right way (which he'll be once 1 year is over).
if you completed 1 year together (which means you are in Common law relationship automatically) then it's already time to inform IRCC via webform. You will have 2 options where you want to add him as a co-applicant (aka accompanying partner) - so you both will get PR together, this will reevaluate your CRS score, if the new score is higher than your ITA cut off then you can continue your application. Another option is you just inform them about your common law partner as non accompanying partner, just you get PR, no changes to your score.
In either case, you need to inform IRCC and your partner will assessed as much as an applicant. so he will need to submit all docs like PCC, medical, education etc
