I was previously married and sponsored my husband to Canada. We remained together for 6 years, had a baby together, bought a house and ultimately he struggled with some substance abuse issues which ended our marriage. I’ve met someone else now and want to sponsor him to come to Canada as a spouse. I’m wondering if my previous sponsorship has any bearing on my new sponsorship? I am a Canadian citizen born here. Does anyone know someone who has sponsored a new spouse Outland after a divorce? Thanks
You’ve asked the same question a few separate times. Your case has a lot of red flags will certainly face a lot of scrutiny. You are on disability. Since you are on CPP disability I assume it has been longterm. You met your husband online this year. You have met him twice for 2 weeks. He had claimed asylum in Italy.

The previous sponsorship is not an issue. As said above, all of the red flags of the current relationship are an issue.
Right, that changes things. Your previous sponsorship is not a bar, but the rest of the facts given above certainly indicate that you stand little to no chance of sponsoring your current spouse.
