Sponsor has left me

My would-be sponsor (Canadian born) has left me and taken our children (Irish born with Canadian Citizenship)

She took them from school on Wed morning and her aunt said she is gone and not comming back

I was just about to submit my PR, i sent off the visitor re-instatement forms during the week as i messed up my original extension

where do i stand?
what are my rights?

Should i fly home ASAP or what? Would i have trouble getting back into Canada with a restoration app in process?

Are u in Canada or your native country?

Do u have joint custody of your children if you do then that is kidnapping if she attempts to enter Canada with them so inform CBSA immediately.

As for sponsorship she can withdraw up until you are issued a visa after that u can pretty much land so if you want to try go ahead and send your passport and hope she has not withdrawn application yet.

I say until you are issued a visa because there was a case where a husband attempted to withdraw after visa was issues and we all know how that turned out.

Get yourself a lawyer. She can still withdraw her sponsorship application before you get your PR. Find out as much as you can from a lawyer is the best advice I can give.

i am IN canada, we haven't submitted the PR yet

Nothing like custody or anything like that - we were all here as a family up until then

I arrived here Sept 2010 and applied to extend my stay in March.

I messed up that as i only sent in the form, no documents! so i had to apply to restore my status.

I went to the local police who tracked them down. She told them that she wants a separation.

Cop told me i can get a duty council for advice on Monday
