SP Extension updates

If you havent got it yet for April 24 then it looks like people in June will get it near October at this rate.

wow. this is all so bizarre because some folks who applied in May heard back early July. Not sure what's going or why they are taking so long to process extensions. I talked to the international adviser at my school and she said she hasn't seen processing times this long.

As I mentioned in another thread, they are extremely lucky individuals. The only reason I can come up with is that there are internal problems going. Otherwise it just doesn't make any sense. Same time last year, it only takes 1 week to get my application approved.

I heard that currently the canadian government is overwhelmed in general...so it takes so long to process anything :/

Ps. I applied for a new study permit and an OWP for my husband because we were on work permits so we changed conditions... I was told that the processing time which applies for us is the same as for people who extend their study permits...

My husband applied to change historia work permit into study permit on Mayor 28th, still no response. I have heard that the processing times for this is the same as study permit extension.
I hope to hear from someone soon!

the good news is that May applications have been approved so looks like the time on the website may not be that accurate. Hopefully we all hear soon!
