Hi Guys,

I need some advice here. I am on study permit and will be travelling to Canada for September 2023 intake for Cloud Computing (1 Year) program at Durham College.

I am married since 3 years and want to apply for SOWP.

I need help for the below queries:
-When can/do I file for SOWP?
-Since my course is only 1 year can my SOWP be rejected due to duration? (I will be pursuing a second course as well, 1+1)
-Shall I apply SOWP first or my study permit extension or both together?
 
Once you are in this country as a Student, while you are still in School ( Durham College) you can sponsor your Spouse for work permit. As long as your study permit is valid his/her work permit will be valid and be granted to the same expiry date as well.
