Webform was raised on 12th March, there's still no response on status. The portal still says my application is yet to be reviewed, very frustrating wait.

Interesting, my application is still under "Background check" it has been 3 months but it is not moving from that status. Is your background check completed or?

No unfortunately, looks like its not even picked up for review. Or maybe they are not updating real time.

Yes that sucks. Any updates mine has been 15 weeks and still shows on background processing. Has anyone received any update?

Nothing yet, processing time infact increased from 19 to 20 weeks again. Even raised a webform

I applied on 5th December and had my upfront medical updated on 19th January. No movement since then.

I’m in a similar situation; I completed my biometrics on November 10th and am also waiting for any updates. However, seeing progress in a friend’s application does bring some comfort.

I feel your pain my friend. My spouse application has crossed 17 weeks and yet not a single update. Its an inland application and I work in TEER 1 and provided employer letter and paystubs. This is the second attempt as the first application was refused after 5 months for not providing "sufficient evidence" of my employment because the employer letter did not list duties or NOC. So, almost 1 year waiting for SOWP.
I just wish they would ask for a new letter if they did not like it and ask us to pay for new processing fees (+ plus a fine if they wish) instead of refusing the application and putting us in this waiting pain again.

Biometric got updated on 10th Nov

When I applied, the estimated time of processing was 13 weeks, presently it is 20 weeks
I have waited 22 weeks now, for my visa..

I heard IRCC usually has less to no staff around dec 25th to 5 jan, we may have discount that period in processing time, coupled with the current changes maybe thats why the delay.
That being said its ideally my 20th week since application, still no response to the webform.

Applied on: 15th December 2023
Biometrics updated: 3rd Jan 2024
Medicals passed update: 6th march 2024

There has been no new update on application since then. The journey has been truly draining. Hope to get some updates soon.
