Solemn Declaration Concerning a Lost, Stolen, Destroyed or Never-Receivd PR card

Just starting this thread for the people who faxed the Solemn Declaration Concerning a Lost, Stolen, Destroyed or Never-Received Permanent Resident Card to CIC.

My cards were sent out on 28th May 2015 and they were never delivered to my address in Ontario by Canada post. Since it is more than 6 weeks that is declared as never received. After explaining to the CIC call center, they sent me an email with steps to fax the form IMM5451. I faxed it yesterday i.e. 08-Jul-2015. I was told this will fall under the same processing times for new PR cards (83 days at present)

Anyone had similar experiences, please add to this thread.

On July30th, CIC is processing May 19th Solemn declaration forms which is 11 weeks processing time.

ecas status updated - Aug 5th 2015, the application was approved and it said the card will be mailed.

Guys, I landed on 23 March 2015, My PR card is received in June. But my wife and son's PR cards were never received. I called CIC and then faxed the Solemn Declaration on 19JUN2015.
I called yesterday (09SEP2015) and the CIC agent told me that they are currently processing Solemn Declarations received upto 04JUN2015.

Anybody is awaiting replacement PR cards? Please share your timeline. Thanks.

It will be sent to your Canadian address. Just send the Solemn Declaration to CIC by mail or fax.

Send Solemn declaration on Sep 28 2016 (via Fax), Ecase status nothing ( No application shown as of Oct 17 2016 ). Seems like it will take a while.

I don't think solemn declaration information is posted on ECAS. it certainly shouldn't be used as a source for determining anything about a missing pr card IMO. It hasn't been very long since you sent your solemn declaration, and you have to remember there was a holiday between then and now. if you don't hear anything after 4 working weeks, then call the CIC call centre and get transferred to the PR Card processing centre to inquire. more than likely, either you are just going to receive your pr card in the mail or instructions for getting a new one made. don't expect much communication from cic otherwise.

I am in the same boat. I faxed the form today and I am really worry that I will have to wait another 60 days or so.

Hi may i know how long it took after sending solemen declaration?? For me cards were sent on Jan 5 th. We recoeved my wife and son's pr card but not mine. Do i need to wait till 6 weeks and send declaration?? or can i send it now??

You might have to wait for 6 weeks. Also, do confirm that mere sending of form works or the process of reissuance is initiated by CIC. Better give a call to CIC.
Regarding time, new PR card was issued and delivered in three weeks after having sent the signed solemn declaration form.
