Slight name difference in passport and school certificate

i am looking forward to apply for further education in Canadian university. The problem is on my educational certificate's complete father name is written i.e Syed Hussain Abbas Rizvi while on passport its mention only S Hussain Abbas. Will IT be a Problem???

definitely...even a single letter creates problem.

Why don't u guys care about these things at first place..?? I mean this is so careless behavior that you are not addressing these issues on time.. so common in Pakistan

I didn't asked the question which you are answering!!
This is not only a problem in Pakistan but these issues are there in India n other countries as well.
This is something related to our trends, culture and lack of system to tackle these issues properly.

Any one knows what is Name Affidavit?
Is it works in Canadian Embassy for variations in names!!

well it certainly is a big problem and no affidavit will work at all u need to take out new certificates or change ur father passport. I think school certificates is easy so do it.

In my case everything is similar in my all documents! but the difference is in my father spell.
In my all documents it is written as Amjid Ali while in my all father's document it is written as Amjad Ali....
this is due to how it is written in Urdu... We can spell it both ways!!!
tell me is it gonna create any problem?

same here, sonehow my education docs have Rafique Akhter while passport and job letters have Rafiq Akhtar.....

Due to lack of interest and since most of my dad docs are in urdu no one cared till now, its obviously too late to worry for them now,just gona apply and see what happens XP ~
