I applied for a Skilled worker visa and came short by 5 points. My boyfriend and I were waiting on this so I could go to Canada and we will eventually get married. But now we are going to get married here in the States, where I am, and then he will petition my visa through the family class. However, things would be easier if I could get a temporary visa so we could get married and then I could go to Canada and wait there for my permanent visa to come through. He is going to write a letter of invitation, any advice on what to include in the letter? I know it is going to be difficult to get the temporary visa since I have previously applied for the permanent one...
