six months for the passport request after biometrics

Nothing new. I'm at my 7th month.. This is getting really annoying.
I've talked to an agent, she informed me that i'm in the background check phase, no documents needed, no interview needed.

Please what is causing delay for me to receive my COPR since then someone should help me on what to do on it

Please I did my biometrics on the 13th of may 2024 and I’ve not received the passport request message up till now and my passport is going to expire by January 2025. Please do I still stand a chance cos I’m curious
