Hello,
I am trying to get my docs and forms ready for applying when it opens up again. I am confused about the settlement funds.
On both these SINP categories' pages :
- https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-international-skilled-workers/international-skilled-worker-occupations-in-demand
- https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-international-skilled-workers/international-skilled-worker-saskatchewan-express-entry
Under eligibility section, the link to 'settlement plan' opens http://www.cic.gc.ca/lctvac/english/index :
But in the that webpage, it asks a few basic questions. Although in second screen for 'Has your application to come to Canada been approved', if I select 'No, I haven't applied', it routes to a page saying 'The Living in Canada Tool is intended for people who have already applied to come to Canada, and for immigrants who already live here. '.
So in order to get going, I am having to answer 'No, I applied but am still waiting', which isn't really my case. How are we supposed to get a copy of the settlement plan if we are unable to get past this page by answering 'No, I haven't applied', which would be the case for most as we need this to apply for SINP?
Also, I see that the different pages just has links to informational pages from CIC website. After navigating through all the pages, when I get to the last, there isn't any amount suggested or anything of that sort. Should I still be emailing myself this settlement plan and attach it when applying for SINP?
I would appreciate if experts or people who have applied for SINP could clarify.
Thanks.
